Edinburgh meet end Sept / early Oct?
ETA: The next Edinburgh Slingmeet is on Mon 28th Sept from 10am - 12 noon at The Kings Centre. (See post 16 for more info and directions).
The pregnancy and parent centre are hosting a sling meet on 30th August (see other thread) so it would make sense for anyone who is around to join them there this month. (Unfortunately I can't make it as we are away though  ) We could hold the next one at the usual venue (The Kings Centre) at the end of September / early October? What do you think? We can finalise details nearer the time but if anyone has a particular preference for days / times then let us know! To get us started how about:Mon 28 Sept am / pm Tue 29 Sept am / pm Wed 30 Sept am / pm Thur 01 Oct am / pm Fri 02 Oct am / pm Last edited by mummielouie; 22-09-2009 at 12:36 AM.

Hi folks,
I'm hoping to go to the sling meet at Pregnancy & Parent's centre this month too, so hope to see some of you there. Our baby is now 2 months old and I could do with a little advice about how I am "wearing" her! I have a moby and a calin bleu gauze wrap, but also a mai tai which is proving a bit fiddly. Demos might be helpful if we get the chance. Am looking forward to this combined open day and sling meet at the centre, as I used the place throughout my pregnancy and think they are fab. I'm also now doing a course of shiatsu for babies there, which has been great for Daisy already. For anyone who hasn't come across this place, it's well worth a visit. As for the next meet, the Monday would be my preference, as I have groups on a Wed and Thurs morning, but could poss do the afternoons on those days if that suited others better. My little girl seems to be a bit sensitive to too much in one day, so would have to see. She might be different by then! See you on Sunday I hope. Eleanor

Are you still meeting soon? I'm really keen to learn how to wear baby on my back so she doesn't kill me when I'm doing housework.

I'm New
Hi just reading through this and i'd love to meet and find more info I'm wearing my youngest but never new much about it with my older two.. I'm in dunfermline so Edinburgh meet would be great any day suits me i'll keep checking on here to see if a date and time has been finalised look forward to meeting other like minded mummy's

ok, there's no day that suits everyone by the looks of it unfortunately. monday wins with the most votes though - is there any way you could make that babyboos? i think everyone else can though who has replied so far.
robert will be at nursery school from 12.20 till 3pm so i would prefer a morning meet (say 10am - 12 noon) or a later afternoon one (say from 3.30pm, though i guess i could collect him a bit early and start the meet at 3pm if that would be better?) i was also wondering if it might be worth finding a regular timeslot (the first monday of the month for example) so we can advertise a bit wider and it is easier for people to remember when it will be on? if we can't find a day everyone can do then maybe we should just advertise it as say the first week of the month but to check here for the exact date and time?

I would prefer 10-12 then as both my kids are more likely to sleep in late afternoon. Is it monday the 28th of september then?
I think it would be great if we could have a regular timeslot so I always know when next meeting will be. Once a months sounds good.
