The number of people who enjoy babywearing seems to be growing in this area, so here's a group to offer any help and advice for those with an interest in learning more about all types of slings and carriers.

Leicester
Slinging Mamas in Leicester unite!!!
If you're new to wearing your baby or toddler, or a dab hand with a double hammock back carry, join us in our soon-to-be-regular (hopefully!) meetings in & around Leicester. We'll have an assortment of slings, wraps, mei tais, soft structured carriers etc for you to try out. If you have a 'stash' (one carrier counts as a 'stash'!) bring it along. Tips & tricks shared ;)
You don't have to have a carrier of your own to come along.

Cambourne Sling Meet
Welcome to Cambourne! We are starting a new Sling Meet in Cambourne.
We will be meeting at ‘19 - The Coffee House’, Cambourne Church Cafe 9.30-11.30, last Tuesdays of the month (except School Holidays): 27th September, 18th October, 22nd November.

Swindon Sling Library
Our sling meets are free to attend, and allow parents to try out the my slings and ask questions. Parents can also bring their own slings along, if they are having trouble using them.
And of course, being a library, if parents want to take a sling away to give it a proper try before investing in their own (or if they just want a sling to take on holiday or to a specific event) then any of the slings can be borrowed.
