Hi guys :-)
Being a lovely sunny day today I was just thinking about using wraps in the summer. I have a moby wrap, but will I get too warm using it in the summer? If so, what alternative wrap would people recommend? Not that I really want to go buying yet another, but I don't wanna roast either! I'm not going to be going abroad anywhere, but it can still get pretty hot over here.
Thanks,
Kate

A gauze wrap is a good option for summer. Calin Bleu or Gypsy Mama.

LOL! Can I spam the MaM ECO? Lovely and thin, and the hemp content is particularly cooling :)

I can't praise my calin bleu highly enough. The colours are fab and the fabric is lovely and cool-wore it a lot on my last trip to Australia and it won't get as hot over here this summer I'm sure lol!

I'm looking for something for summer too. Got a custom cwtshi on order which will have less padding but am really getting the hang of wrapping now but i do warm up quickly and so does Tabitha.
The MaM Eco looks gorgeous as does the Earth and the hats are so cute! Unfortunately dd is 14.5kg so maybe on the heavy side for these wraps.

I rented a calin bleu gauze last autumn and it was lovely. D'you know what sort of weight they go up to?

Oo from the main site the MaM ECO does look lovley.. but my silly AOL wont let me view BabyArmadillo shop properly :-( Is that the only UK distributor?
As for the Calien Bleu, is it me but I can only find the fleecy winter type online :s Maybe I'm looking in all the wrong places!
I eventually want to get a Didymos as well, for when baby is a bit bigger (this being the baby that isn't even born yet!).. would that be any better for warmer weather than the moby?
Confuzzled :-s

My Moby is really thick compared to my Indio or Gypsy Mama gauze wrap. Anything must be cooler than a Moby!

I'm completely out of stock, I'm expecting the new collection in a few weeks.
You can check with Emma, she still has a few in stock:

Some ideas that spring to mind: Ellaroo, BB-slen, Vatanai?

I got a Mam Eco from www.babyslingsandoutdoorthings.com - I haven't checked to see if she's still carrying them though...
I haven't tried it yet - its a present for the baby due in July!

Wraps are really easy to make yourself too with the minimum sewing skills, I have just made one for summer out of lightweight 100% cotton jersey because I couldn't seem to find what I wanted and it is so comfy
