I just thought I would rant on a bit about my dh, who completely refuses to wear a sling.....but he thinks it's perfectly acceptable to comment on which sling choice I make while we are out...

Typical example - standing in the parking lot putting on a wrap because we will be walking around the store for a while and I want to put Robert on my back and my lovely hubbie pipes up - 'why didn't you bring the other one, the one with the ring thingy's...it's faster'.

HOW DARE HE (LOL!!!) - he's not the one carrying the boy around, yet he basks in the ease which we fly around the store and the fact that Robert doesn't make a peep.

growl - oh well...I guess I can count myself lucky, he usually doesn't comment when yet another wrap arrives on our doorstep.

big smiles!

Grrrrrrr...

Oh how easy he has it! LOL!!

Although my DH is fab about wearing slings and happily and willingly wears Mila (on his front, he's made comments about not wanting to do back carries, but we'll cross that bridge when Mila is older and heavier :D) I often wonder if he feels a bit like a spare part when I'm putting her on my back, and that if we actually had a pushchair it would give him a 'job' to do getting it out of the boot whilst I'm getting her out of the carseat IYKWIM?

Anyway, it's great that he doesn't bat an eyelid when another arrives, and actually does see it as so much a part of your lives that he feels comfortable to be able to 'complain' that it's taking too long and the RS would be quicker rather than a pushchair!!

How did Robert get on with the chickenpox?

Bxx

Robert was fine with the pox - although he still has some scars on his face.

Hope your trip was fantastic! I can' wait to hear about it.
