Hiya

Im new and just want to say hi.
I wont be able to be involved in any of the meets for a few months yet. I am about 4 months pregnant with my second child and live in Stretford. My son is 9 and i used a 'modern' carrier with him when he was a few weeks old but it gave me really bad back ache so this time i want to try using the slings and other funky carriers that are around now.

I bought my first Mei Tai Nuzzli earlier in the week and received it yesterday. Oh it looks huge for a newborn!

Really looking forward to buying lots of diffeent slings and babycarriers but am not sure what will suit me and flump yet.

Look forward to meeting you all hopefully when Flump arrives in July!

Hi Simone,and welcome to the group. You would be very welcome at any of the meets,even before baby is born...there's bound to be an obliging baby to borrow to try things on,and it's always as well to be prepared.

hi. welcome. yes do come along. wish i had seen all the slings available before i had my baby. could have saved alot of time and money. Everyone is reallynice and ivepicked so much info on all aspects of AP,breastfeeding, cloth nappies, etc. youd definatly have fun. x

hello and welcome - i'm in chorlton so not far at all - in fact i'm hosting a sling meet in march so maybe you could pop along. I've got a 9 year old and a 6 month old - thought i was the only one with a long gap!

Welcome to the group. I am in Urmston and have 2 boys.

I wish I had known about the group and all the wonderful baby carriers earlier as I had been using a Baby Bjorn. Now I am working my way through all the different types to find my favourite!

Hi! I'm trogette on mumszone *grin* I'm going to try to get over to some meet sometime (probably when I've got deliveries to make, lol) or at least I might be at Little Ones Fair at altrincham lesiure centre in march, need to pull my finger out and decide!

Hi there, I have just joined the group, I live in Chorlton and my 1st baby is also due in July (2 weeks time actually). I have bought a Baba sling so am very excited about getting started with it. I look forward to meeting you all at a meeting once the baby is here.
