Our section is fairly new, but growing in size quickly.
We aim to meet on monthly basis and share our experiences of babywearing and show off our lovely carriers.
Please bring along any carriers that you have, to the meets, or just a few if you have lots :D If you have any problems/concerns with a carrier and how to use it, we can most likely help. We are a friendly bunch and would love to see new Mum's at the meet.
Please remember this is a public board ~ Please do not post any personal details.

Thank you, I was very pleased to find that you exist. I'd be happy to help with promoting you more in my area (Sevenoaks) as it took me 2 years to find you...

Hi, have just joined this evening! I'm expecting number 4 but never really did babywearing before. I did some with dd3 but my sling was rubbish and it never went very well. She was quite big at birth (9lbs and 0.5oz) and fed for England so she got very big very quickly! She's also very tall for her age (always has been) so her legs got in the way from early on!
Looking forward to meeting people soon!

Hi, I joined ages ago, but was on the B'ham board as that's where I live(d), but somehow never managed to make it to a meet. I'll be moving to Kent soon (Tenterden area) and so I hope to be able to come to one of the meets soon. I have got 3 dcs (7, 5 and 3m). I sort of carried no1&2 up to about 4m in babybjorns. Now I've discovered wraps which are so much more comfy and hopefully I'll be able to wear baby for longer. I've also got a MT on the way, which I'm itching to try out. Hopefully til some time in autumn :)

Hi everyone! Just found this site and I'm hoping to make it to a sling meet once my LO is here. I'm expecting my first in the next two weeks and I've been doing a lot of research into which sling to try first. I think I'm going to get a Moby wrap at first and see how I go with that, but would love to meet up with those of you more experienced at this and try a few!
I'm in Gravesend area and I drive so pretty flexible for meets, I will keep my eyes open for one towards the end of October.

Dear Sling meeters
I read about you in the NCT magazine, and want to know a little bit about slings and the best ones on the market. Also if I could meet up with anyone who could demonstrate their slings, that would be perfect. I live in the Ramsgate area, but I can travel to meet up. My job took me to some developing countries, where mums only have the option of slings. I'd like to find something suitable and would like some advice.
Any help would be well recieved.
Looking forward to hearing from you
(Tuesday 9th Dec).

Hello,
I'm new here. I live in Westerham and am a "part-time babywearer". I'd love to attend a sling meet close to me to meet other mums and get some help with positioning. I'd love to get better at breastfeeding in a wrap!
Anyway, looking forward to chating with you all and maybe make some friends.
