Shall we try and arrange our last 2010 SE London Slingmeet at the RFH in December? That way mamas from all over can join us!!

I'm thinking sometime during the 2nd week, as the third week is probably mad shopping week:p

Can do all but Thursday.

You read my mind - I was just wondering if I'd squeeze another N London one in before Christmas (seeing as the next one is this Wed) and was thinking probably not, so this is a great idea.

I can do any day except Friday, so ummmm how about Tuesday or Wednesday?

Anybody else with suggestions?

Talking of communal mummy brain I'm not sure if I've seen/replied to the NM thread??!! But that date looks good to me atm. PM me once it gets decided and I'll add it to the Facebook group

Hi BgMama and welcome:hello:

The meet will be next Monday 13th Dec, starting at 11am (ish) and usually finishes 2-3 hours later depending on the tolerance levels of the babies/toddlers!

We meet at the Royal Festival Hall (on South Bank in London, just google for directions if you aren't sure where it is, nearest tube is Waterloo) at the seats between the sunken ballroom and the bar. As long as you don't arrive early we're pretty easy to spot - just look for a group of parents & small children and lots of piles of material!

You don't need to bring anything other than yourself - some people have been known to come without children but it is generally easier to try slings out if you have a baby or toddler with you as well;)

Oh! gutted to have missed this. Don't suppose there is a date for Jan? I am a new mum with a ring sling and woul love to meet you all!

Hi Lucyar. Sorry you missed this one, there will def be more to come, though there isn't another RFH organised just yet. If you are on facebook come and join the group "London Sling meet" and you will get invites to all up and coming events, or else just keep an eye on the threads here. So far this year there will be one at the Horniman Museum on the 12th Jan, Finsbury Park cafe on 14th and Museum of Childhood on the 20th, hope one of those works for you!
