Consider a Warrington meet organised!

After meeting Choccra on Monday at the bf picnic (and dragging a large number of friends with me to the Liverpool meet) I thought I ought to get on and just organise a Warrington meet!

I spoke to Golden Square and the community room isn't ready yet she said thought it would "probably be within the next few weeks" so hopefully we shouldn't have long to wait.

I propose that until the room is ready (or I locate an alternative) we meet in the park by Parr Hall (as it's really close various places that have loos and it has benches!), have a bit of a picnic (if it's raining we can, er, get wet? sit under brollies? something else?), and faff with some slings.

As I'm organising it and Mondays are best for me I'm going to say the third Monday of each month (bit of a random date but the Liverpool meet is on the first one so I thought I'd space my sling meets out!) we would make our first meet on 17th August 1-3 :-)

That gives us time to get the word out and hopefully pick up occasional readers from here!

I'd love to come but Mondays just won't work for me until January (DD2 in preschool Mon afternoons; will go mornings in Jan). By which point I will have DC#3 and have dug out all the old slings again so I'd love to come!
Hope it takes off so there is a meet to come to next year ;)

Yup, the more the merrier Missy :-)

And turqoiuse, I shall make to my mission to still have a Warrington meet in January (and hopefully not have had to change the day to suit Golden Square to one you can't make!)

Hooray! Thanks Clare! I recommend bringing a brolly too, it's forecast rain (but someone told me only clouds and no rain between one and four! Which was tremendously specific!)

In theory September 21st but I'm still working on a venue that won't entail us getting rained on! Hopefully I'll have an update soon :-)
