Hi
I am moving to a village near Bideford on 3 April and would love to meet up with any N Devon slingers, as I will be pining for my baby connections in Oxford.
I have been a member of the hugely successful Oxford slingmeet group nearly since its start, & it has been invaluable in my first year with my baby girl

Hi to all my mates there & Hello to anyone in N Devon

Which village are you in? There is a Barnstaple meet on the 6th of April. Have you found the north Devon thread by region?

Hi
Thanks for your reply - I found the Barnstaple meet now - I will try to make the meet if possible - where is the best place to park for it?

We are coming to Buckland Brewer - we move Friday so are in chaos! - my baby thinks it's great having boxes everywhere to climb in

Cheersrofl

Hi, I live in a north Devon village too!
Hope to meet you at the next Barnstaple meet.
Parking: closest is the old cattle market car park in front of the library.
cheapest is the leisure centre car park, which involves about a 10 minute walk across the bridge over the river Taw and through the town.
Hope that's some help!

Hi
thanks for that - the whole area is new to me so a bit daunting - I'm sure I will soon wonder what I was worrying about!

I look forward to meeting soon - what age(s) are your children?

Thanks

I'm sure you will soon settle in and find your way around just fine. If you want to meet me somewhere easy before the sling meet, we could walk there together if you like. PM me. I haven't got any children- yet:) My first baby is growing inside me, and is due in June.

Buckland Brewer is just a few minutes away from us (the booming metropolis of Ashmansworthy). We've some freinds there. We moved here over a year ago. People are quite freindly around here, I'm sure you'll settle in fine.

If my little Rose (11 months) and I can make it, I'll be getting there by coach, so I'm not much help for directions or parking advice.

Hope to meet you all there!

I'm in Clovelly, about 5 miles away. You get a coach to Barnstaple? I'm driving, a little car (ka) but if you'd like a lift pm me.

Hi All
its great to know there are some fellow slingers close by - thanks for the warm welcome - hope to see you in Barnstaple if I can get out past the packing boxes!
Best to say I will see you there rather than arrange anything, in case I can't make it
Cheers
