The Guardian family section has a shopping piece on slings and babywearing today! Slingmeet is mentioned too - what a great advert. You hardly ever see BW in the mainstream press. I thought it was pretty cool. Makes me want to buy another sling, or two :))

Anne - Calin Bleu get a BIG mention! As do Zolowear, Ellaroo, Wilkinet, Moby wrap and Kozy - they even use the term "Babywear"!

Annalisa Barbieri who wrote the article, mentioned in the paper a few weeks ago that this column was coming up, so I emailed her about SlingMeet :-) (she set up the IWantMyMum forum)

So, perhaps the SlingMeet posters should now say "as seen in the Guardian Family section!" lol!

It is a great article! Nice to see all those slings in one easy to read page.
Hopefully this will give us an extra boost and lots of new members!

Superb article! How cool to get SlingMeet mentioned too! We should definitely see an influx, I'll also be forwarding it on to people.

Hannah, good idea to get some laminated, I might also do that, so we've covered off a larger area...

Fab article! And it has already had an effect; I was at a party yesterday and had my sling admired by 2 pregnant women. Then, a woman with a 12 week old in a bjorn-thing asked me a lot about the sling, because she had read the article and was worried about her baby s spine position. Fantastic! I tried to keep the note of evangelism out of my voice so as not to put her off :D
