Hello,

I am hoping someone can help. Gabriel and I have an Ellaroo wrap which has been our best friend since he was born. However, now he is eight and a bit months he wants to look at the world. How do I do an outward carry. Do I just do the same as for the 'crossed through the legs' inward carry just with him facing out ??!!

Thanks,

Hannah

Tbh, I never found outward carries that comfortable, the weight pulls you forward.
But at his age, you could try back carries, much comfier and he can look over your shoulder and fall asleep when he's had enough.

Hi,
I agree with Anne, back carries are definately much better!
Whereabouts are you?

Hi,
We're meeting (as I have said in reply to your intro post too - but just incase you don't read that...) this Tuesday 15th near Oval. Mia isn't coming as far as I know (I think she's away) which is a shame as by all accounts she is a super-experienced wrapper. I've just had a look at who's coming... Jo (Bell2) is good at backwraps I think. I'd offer to help too, but am not so good at back wrapping (yet). I'll HAPPILY show you back carries in a MT though :D

Thanks for all your enthusiastic invitations, how lovely! I will definately try, I'd love to come. However, I am on call for an imminent labour (a friend). I have been carrying Gabriel in the outward carry and it seems quite comfy as he was three months premature so is a small 8 1/2 months. He absolutely loved it! His new amour is his feet and he was thrilled to flap his legs and watch them dangle.

How long do you usually stay, do you think I can come later if I have to, if that's not too rude? Hope to see you all on tuesday.
